HstEx v5.8

Change Log v5.8 — We are pleased to announce the release of HstEx® version 5.8, another milestone in our relentless pursuit of excellence in digital forensic solutions. This release is meticulously crafted to enhance your investigative capabilities, ensuring you extract crucial digital evidence with unparalleled precision and efficiency.

Change Log v5.7 — We are pleased to announce the release of HstEx® Version 5.7. There have been a number of changes to the structure of supported SQLite tables, so we have adapted for the changes and improved our recovery. We have added support for the latest browsers, ensuring we have the most comprehensive support available for the recovery of browser evidence.

Change Log v5.6 — We are pleased to announce the release of HstEx® Version 5.6. This update brings you new features and support, ensuring that you have the latest tools at your disposal for effective digital forensic analysis and browser data recovery.

Change Log v5.5 — HstEx® Version 5.5 includes improved handling of Expert Witness image files as well as improved carving of SQLite database entries. We have also added support for the changes in the latest browsers and made a number of changes to improve the performance of our unique search and recovery routines. You will be pleased with the results as HstEx® is the most comprehensive carver for recovering browser evidence available today.

Change Log v5.4 — HstEx® version 5.4 adds support for 96 new artefacts. We have made some improvements, under the hood, with regards to verifying recovered artefacts and improving the efficiency of the Intelli-Carve® engine.

Change Log v5.3 — HstEx® version 5.3 adds support for 223 new artefacts. We have improved the recovery of entries from Chromium based Keyword Search Terms and Quota Manager.

Change Log v5.2 — HstEx® version 5.2 adds further support for mobile and desktop browsers. With this release, we have added Dissenter, Maxthon, Mi and Mint Browsers. The full list of changes is provided below.

Change Log v5.1 — HstEx® version 5.1 continues our quest to add further support for mobile browsers. This release adds four new browsers, namely 7 Star Browser, Naver Whale, Opera Mini and Opera Touch. We have also added additional support for existing browsers and added 53 new recovery profiles. Change Log v5.0 — Version 5 is a major release of HstEx® and adds new support for mobile and portable browsers. We have added 124 new recovery profiles in this release and added support for browsers such as Mozilla Firefox on Android, SalamWeb on various platforms and Samsung Internet Browser on Android. The user interface has been completely re-written and adds major improvements and new features in a number of key areas. We have improved the layout of the user interface, with the goal of improving productivity,
