Introduction
Dolphin Browser is a Chromium-based web browser for Android and iOS developed by MoboTap. It was one of the first alternative browsers for the Android platform that introduced support for multi-touch gestures. Gesture browsing allows users to draw characters to call websites; for example, T for Twitter and F for Facebook, users can also create their own custom gestures as needed. In addition to gesture browsing, it also features tabbed browsing, Dolphin Sona (users can use their voice to search, share and navigate in Dolphin) and synchronisation data across multiple devices. Dolphin Browser also uses its native platform's default browser engine, allowing for a small disk footprint.
