NetAnalysis® v2 also supports the new Cache v2 structure found in Mozilla Firefox v32+ (released 2nd September 2014). This cache structure is completely different to the Cache v1 format found in the previous versions of the browser. HstEx® v4 can also recover deleted Cache v2 records from a source image or disk.
NetAnalysis® v2 supports the new database file format found in Microsoft Internet Explorer v10+. HstEx® v4 can also recover deleted Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge records from a source image or disk.
NetAnalysis® v2.1+ supports the new History format found in Apple Safari v8. HstEx® v4 can also recover deleted history_items
and history_visits
from a source image or disk.
Microsoft Edge is the new minimalistic browser for Windows 10 (previously codenamed Project Spartan). NetAnalysis® v2.3+ adds support for Microsoft Edge artefacts including Reading List and Reading View entries. We also support exporting and rebuilding Reading View pages.
HstEx® v4.3+ also adds support for the recovery of Microsoft Edge artefacts, including Reading List entries.
